What is Botanica;
Direction, Mission, Hope...

 Welcome; Within these pages, I hope to convey our mission, experience, knowledge and dedication to our Clientele. We provide informational reference in the 'About Us', 'Our Products' and 'Location/Contact' pages. We also offer my 'Jayar's Info Blog' to allow open dialogue, regarding ethnic religious and spiritual issues, for questions and answers, to and from people just like you. In doing so, I realize that we must act responsibly and take great care in ensuring that all dialogue is civil and ethnically suitable for all participants. You are free to post reasonable questions, answers or simply a statement that might help to enlighten others in the understanding of ethnic spiritualism and/or the peoples' that participate in them.
 I surmise, the word 'Botanica' is both abbreviated and derived from 'Botanical'. Exactly when or why the 'L' was dropped from Botanical is not known to me. It may be due to something as simple as a mis-communication of the spoken word. Thus, 'Botanica' became the pronounciation.  However, the word Botanica has added meaning in ethnic religions. Botanica describes more than just the study, sale and/or development of herbs, plants and flowers. It has also come to mean general merchandise shop and herbal pharmacy, for items used in self medicinal treatments, consultations, cleansings or to obtain tools, garments, objects, recipes' and other accessories that are commonly used in spiritual activities. For lack of better words, a 'Spiritual Supermarket'.
 Our mission; Serving the needs of ethnic spiritualist and practitioners of the African, Afro-Caribbean, North, Central and South American arts of the Yoruba, Orisha, Ifa, Santeria/Lukumi, Aruba, Palo, American Indian' and many other appreciated faiths. We maintain a broad inventory of  spiritual candles, statues, baths, washes and garments.  As well as, locally made and imported one of a kind novelty items and collectables. We also carry Christian religious candles, statues, prayer cards, rosaries, talismans and accessories for prayer, adoration, adornment and/or protection purposes.
 Our quaint little shop; Is fast becoming the most complete 'One Stop Shop' in Central Florida. We are ideally located  on S. French Ave., in 'Sunny Sanford'. Just a short distance from I-4 Exits and easy driving from any direction via a multitude of well known highway routes. Travel directions are detailed on our 'Location/Contact' page.
 When it comes to serving our clients; Experience, knowledge and foresight are key in providing a 'custom fit' of tools, products and/or activities, specific to the needs or desires of the client.
